Lord Cyril Pierce Ninny, known to his (very few) friends as Budgy, is a self-made zillionaire and CEO of Ninny International, which has its corporate fingers in many pies. Budgy enjoys strained relations with his fourth wife, the dignified Lady Ariadne Dithering-Ninny, who has hired local radio personality Dirk Belltone (in reality a sportscaster) to host Budgy's birthday bash. Budgy's obnoxious heirs, Erin and Ermine are expected to attend, along with many of Budgy's business associates. The planned suspense of the evening is the announcement of the winner of the multi-million dollar Ninny endowment, which will go to one lucky arts group. An airplane afficionado, Budgy has promised to make an entrance no one will forget at his birthday bash. But things go awry when Budgy doesn't appear and the party discovers he's been murdered!
